The Judgemental And Racist Kind Poem by Francis Duggan

The Judgemental And Racist Kind

In all creeds, shades and races they are not hard to find
The Human World would be better off without them the judgemental and racist kind
For their kind and their kind only they believe on a fair go
But of a fair go for everybody they do not wish to know,
Asylum Seekers on a boat moored in the Pacific the victims of a political game
When Human Rights become politicized it becomes a human shame
Elections have been fought on the rights of Asylum Seekers of our humanity what does this say
Is compassion so sadly lacking in the Human World of today?
The so called fair go for all sad to say to all does not apply
Yet the right to seek a better life of anyone we should not deny
'Tis us humans created borders though the Earth is of one crust
And like all other life forms we are mere mortals we must return to dust
And sad to think that the racist and judgemental in numbers do abound
In every village, town and city such people to be found.
