The Ki$$ A Mwah Moment Poem by Rayno Elroy Davids

The Ki$$ A Mwah Moment

Does a kiss age
the flavour disintegrate
the aroma fade away
like a song in the memory loses the elation of that specific time frame?

Is it a stage coach ride toward a new destination
or,
do we just grow tired and bored of doing't that way

my lips pays homage to a time i had no one to kiss that way.
Some would count me lucky,
but lack the understanding why they stay

our tongues entwine
and on otherdays we swap spit
she laughs
and i say,
lets do it in a different way,
in public,
infront of a mirror
with our clothes on
in the shower

and if i was an emcee,
our kiss would be the execution of divine lyric
time,
my critic
saying,
our lips would dry out and wither like autumn leaves
which leaves me with a nasty taste on my tongue,

but then,
my senses kicks in
and the song plays
sending text messages to my synapses
reminding me to kiss her again,
my lips brushes her skin
like an artist's brushes his canvas with intimate detail
so
the kiss is an age of enjoyments pleasure and satisfaction's reason why we together.
