The Kingdom

God’s Kingdom now is plain to see
The Truth and second birth
Coming to us by Royal decree
Flowing throughout the earth –Lk.13: 21

Some wonder what it’s all about?
Why life becomes us strange
Why yet each day brings fear and doubt?
And why there’s little change?

We can’t give up, or think God slow
He’s faithful, wise and true
The Wind blows where it ought to blow
And God knows what to do

Most step by step the change takes place
Once Jesus Christ we meet
Like Enoch, Moses, face to face
Or waiting at His feet

In them, true faith begins to rise
Who’ll hunger now and thirst –Isa.58: -
The Truth will open up their eyes
Who’ll put The Saviour first

Who’ll love The Lord with all their might
Who’ll love their neighbour too!
To these, will dawn God’s Guiding Light
With love as morning dew

We feel inside, we know He’s there
The surging promised Spring
We drink God’s Spirit deep in prayer
And when Christ’s praise we sing

Who’ll suffer now, receive so much –Ro.5: 3
Through patience, comes the dawn
Through Jesus’ love, His healing touch
A faithful child’s reborn …
