The Kiss Poem by MacGregor Tagliaferro

The Kiss

I have known some girls
I wanted to kiss and I did
In the spring and the fall
But there was this one girl,
Though I wanted to I did not,
I never kissed at all

Now all the kisses
And the girls that were
Have fallen by the way
But the thought of the kiss
That never was
Haunts me night and day
