The Lady In White, To Poem by Manish Wahi

The Lady In White, To

You are the flutter of an angel's wings.
You are the dew on a rose's lips.
You are the snow your heart is clothed in.
You are the fire your soul worships.

You are a tempest of vicious pain.
You are a lover's gossamer kiss.
You are the butterfly's amorous serenade.
You are the serpent's alluring hiss.

You are the faltering step of a child.
You are the word from a mother's tongue.
You are a million dreams unfulfilled.
You are a thousand hymns unsung.

You are the handsome herald of dawn.
You are the nascent coming of night.
You are the colours in a rainbow.
You are the lady dressed in white.
