The Lady Of The Water Poem by POOJA LADYLUCK

The Lady Of The Water

Hours and days has she spent near the pond
Searching its depth for something priceless
In her mid twenties is that beautiful blonde
Contributing her tears to this infinite sink
I've always wondered what she thinks
and what's the cause of her sorrow
what has made her to be like her present
and what she searches in her new tomorrow
Today's an unusual day i suppose
She smiled at her reflection, free from her pain
Maybe she has found relief
i wonder if i would see her again
With a sort of bliss in her eyes
now she looks better than ever before
I would always wanna know what she thought
And the dark secrets in her heart she bore........
