The Land Of Dream Poem by Chris Barlow

The Land Of Dream

Rating: 5.0

i awoke from my bed
my heart filled with joy and glee
as i had just spent the night
sitting by the sea

i couldnt wait to get back to bed
i wanted to get back to sleep
as i was going to swim with sharks
in the ocean, pea green and deep

but then i got captured by a man
with a peg leg and a bird
i screamed out loudly for help
but im not sure if i was heard

all of a sudden a man flew down
equipped with a cape and a sword
he fought that nasty pirate and
i became the pirate lord

i awoke from my bed
my heart filled with joy and glee
as i had spent the night
sailing the seven seas

i spent the whole day wanting to got to bed
i wanted to shut my eyes
cuz i was going to spend my night
with superheros learning how to fly

they all had thier own capes
they all went quite fast
and there was me in this magical race
right at the back coming last

i landed down in a castle
i spent lessons with wizards and witches
in there school they do magical mysterys
in mine we build light switches

i was having loads of fun
learning all the spells
until i was interupted
by my alarm clock bell

i hated the fact i had to wake up
i was a member of the quidditch team
i knew this wouldnt really happen
but nothing is in possible
in the land of the dream
