The Last Days Poem by Chitalu Taizya simbeya

The Last Days

Rating: 4.5

The Earth circulates as we approach the last days,
Earthquakes dislocating landscapes,
Fatal mistakes the consequence of dangerous mates,
We love and we hate,
At the same time we try to relate,
Everybody is anxious yet we seem to run late,
I maditate leave my frame to a better place,

These are the last days.

I see not mother to child love existing anymore,
Sadly we sit back and watch,
watch with folded hands,
Folded mouths,
Open eyes yet folded vision,

Are these the last days.

Leaders with greed,
Followers with blidfolds,
blindfolds leading to downfalls,
But it matters not cause its normal,
its our language our new nature,

They say its the last days.

My heart skips a beat,
When it see's,
It feels, yes it does for the streetkids,
The unheard, the oppressed,
You name it,
I know, you know, we all know,
There no more words, its too much,

I think its the last days.

I hope, you hope, we all hope,
Tomorrow will come,
And yet we know,
As the sun sets,
We draw closer and closer to the edge,
yes, approaching the last days!

It is the last days!
