The Last Good-Bye Poem by Lana May Hamlin

The Last Good-Bye

Drowning,
Sick of swimming,
On the brink of letting go.
Smiling,
Sick of lying,
Wanting him to know.
Loving,
Sick of caring,
Shattered on the floor.
Dreaming,
Sick of nightmares,
As she closes her hearts door.
Hurting,
Sick of crying,
A flood is all she sees.
Falling,
Sick of waiting,
Laying there begging please.
