There's a saying that goes -
'Parting is such sweet sorrow.'
How true it is when the time comes
to say goodbye to those you love.
Just as things get started
it's time to say so long.
And it's the saddest thing
under the sun above
to say goodbye
to those you love.
I'm starting to wonder -
where will I go from here?
What about them?
Will I ever see them again?
All the things
that I have done with them,
became my life,
my very own.
But before I know
I'll say goodbye
it's time to cry.
I'll try not to cry
or make a scene.
Just say thank you friends
for having been part of my life.
And the hardest thing
under the sun above
is to say goodbye
to those you love.
When I leave
I know you'll still be around,
so please, keep me in mind.
A silent goodbye
from the ones you love
is the loudest cry
under the sun above.
So my friends,
I leave you
these few words
as an epilogue to you,
hopefully, a remembrance of me,
and the knowledge that
I love you all.
