The Last Tango In Transylvania (Shall We Dance) Poem by Justin Gildow

The Last Tango In Transylvania (Shall We Dance)

Reaching the end of the higher level
of the haunted halls
This part of the castle certainly wasn't
easy
But I survived
I'm still alive

Reaching the end
I notice 2 statues and 2 columns

Without a second gone by
I see a couple dance
They dance around the entire area

Shall we dance
Sure, why not

They notice me
And charge toward me
With their swords drawn

Whip at the ready
I run and jump around
Attacking

The dancing couple continues to dance
They even charge at me with their swords
again
Until at long last
I deliver a final strike with my whip
Separating them at long last

That certainly was the last tango in
Transylvania
At least in my mind

Shall we dance
Again
Probably not
