The Last Tear Poem by Thistle Wargul

The Last Tear

I see it falling through the air,
Sparkling in the light.
I see it breaking on the floor,
Shining unearthly bright.
And it’s last tear fallen,
The last because we’ll cry no more!
The last dropp of sad emotion,
Gone, will be no more!

Every cloud we see,
Has a silver lining.
There’s always light,
No matter how dark.
Always catch us when we fall!

Those wrinkled faces in the streets,
Hold the life of forgotten youth.
No matter how old they will become,
There’ll still be a child inside.

Dancers round the maypole,
Joined by a tangle of ribbon.
All the bad in past forgotten,
‘Cos something new’s afoot.

Every cloud we see,
Has a silver lining.
There’s always light,
No matter how dark.
Always catch us when we fall!

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
Our fears lost in bonds of trust.
Everything must come to an end,
Be grateful for what you have.

I see it falling through the air,
Sparkling in the light.
I see it breaking on the floor,
Shining unearthly bright.
And it’s last tear fallen,
The last because we’ll cry no more!
The last dropp of sad emotion,
Gone, will be no more!
