The littlest angel
From the Heaven's above
Came down to the earth
To find a thing called love

She searched the world
Both far and wide
But never once
Was it love she spied

She thought love was
Such a splendid thing
It'd be bright and colorful
Like the flowers of Spring

But it did not matter
How hard she tried
She could not see love
And did not know why

It had to be there
All the angels knew
Of the song of love
When a heart spoke true

So she decided to look
Around one final time
In hopes of finding
Just the smallest sign

Then she saw a spark
Within a mother's breast
As she held her newborn
Child upon her chest

Then she realized love
Was that little spark
That grew to bloom
Within our hearts

Love was not really
Something to see
But something felt
Between you and me

So the littlest angel
From the Heaven's above
Closed her eyes
And then found love
