The Lonely Boy Poem by Toby Findlater

The Lonely Boy

I saw the little boy sat apon a wall
surrounded by a sea of people acting as if there were none at all
I could tell the boy was lonley
I could tell the boy was troubled
I watched as the flood gates opened
I watched as his heart was torn
From his chest and left was nothing only skin and bone
But little did I know the little boy and I
Shared more than just acquaintance
And yet shared nothing at all.
