The Longest Journey Poem by Jayashri Kasaragod

The Longest Journey

In this weary world
I walked in the crowd
But alone!
None to care,
None to share...

Wading in the stormy seas
Living by my vain dreams
I clung on
I hung on...
I laughed, I smiled and i belonged.

Then, you came with an iron whip
Snatched from me even my dreams
I cling on
I hang on...
Tossing and twirling in the stormy seas.

Hi Jayashri! I hope God gives you the strength to be emotionally strong and to fight this person with the iron whip who snatched all you cherished - your dreams, joys, and the sense of belongingness.
