The Lost Captain Poem by Ibnu Din Assingkiri

The Lost Captain

Seagulls sing happily
cheering the captain at the prow
not necessarily no hurricane
even sky is as blue as ocean

Each hurricane never the same
tranquil flow disguise on surface
the ocean nature has no boundaries
differences for each interval

The captain had finally awake
when dreams fade
seagulls flying home
oh! His ship is far away

Captain looking for a lighthouse
a starting point towards pier
to win back the lost love
of genuine lasting harbour

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Translated from Ibnu Din Assingkiri's Malay poem, 'Malim Yang Tersasar'
COMMENTS OF THE POEM
Malaya Roses 31 January 2011

Mimpi dan pesona akan menyesatkan insaniah dan keinsafan mungkin akan menyembuhkan luka dan duka sewaktu masa terbuang dalam kesesatan. Ambition and temptation could divert human's soul but repent and regret will heal all the sorrows and pains due to affection.
