The Lost Ones Poem by victoria driver

The Lost Ones

The snow is falling heavily, and yet you are lost.
I have looked miles and miles, and yet you are lost.
We have tried to find you, and yet you are lost.
I have stayed up all night, and yet you are lost.
I have slept in your bed, and yet you are lost.
I have rung your mobile, and yet you are lost.

No-one can find you. We have searched for hours and hours,
yet we cannot find you.

Or am I the one who is lost?
