The Lost Vagrant Poem by Jerryman Appiahene Gyamfi

The Lost Vagrant

I dive into books

On the street into looks

A Safe Haven on my sheets

And I seek myself

Refrain'd from the bottles

Offer'd no more silly babbles

A prisoner of my thoughts

But I seek myself

Of my canoe no control

Desperately Mother Sea I cajole

Whilst Father Time e'er ruthless

Yet, I seek myself

Albeit a sullen tramp my soul pours

Thus far from these conniving shores

Into the light of such eternal stars I delve

And I seek myself.
