I have felt so lonely, I have been so blue
I wanted most to be loved by you
I found another and he loved me true
He was more than the good I saw in you
It breaks my heart what could have been
I lost him to be your friend
I broke his heart I lost it all
For the simple chance that you might call
Can you love one but another more?
