Like the birds perching in the tree
Love makes a poet out of me
I dream of everything with thee
It is the next best thing to be

I might not give you diamonds
But i have a heart that is true
Love is sweeter than almonds
You lift me up out of the blue

Eyes stare when you are around
My heart shouts that i hear no sound
I have no wish to see you frown
If time makes you make me your clown

It's you that cause vivacity
In moments when i am in naught
And gives my mind the clarity
To think wise when i am in loathe

When you are near i tend to care
Without your presence i'm scared
When you stare my soul is chilled
When you smile my wounds are healed

All i want is to be friends with you
Cause for now that's all i can do
I dedicate this poem to you
Always smile and i love you.
