The love
of my mother
is never gone
never lost
living on
deep deep within
me
your mother's
within you
and all the others'
within their hearts
within their minds
within their very being
for mother's love
is true

their smiles
are ours
and their arms
carry us through
our lives
even when they are gone
even when the woman who lived
and the woman who died
not always the mother
of our dreams
the love
is
was
and always will be
mother's love within me
