The Love Twins

We're twins with hearts whose golden linings
Teach us all we know
Whose threads of deep devotion stitch
The quilts of love we sew

We live to be romantic since
It's bred into our being
We crave the sweet embrace of love
Its silver lining gleaming

Love fills our lives with inner peace
It gives us all our strength
Bathing us in happiness
Immeasurable in length

We sometimes can go overboard
When showing how we feel
Giving far more than we take
Our loyalty so real

We're born to love with all our hearts
To sing the praise of passion
To capture and bestow a love
That's never out of fashion

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.

The Wind is hiding in the trees,
