The Lure To Look And Read Poem by Johanna Boal

The Lure To Look And Read

There is a great attraction on our fridge
A butterfly on a journey from Kellogg’s
Never moves?
David from Florence, protects
A nameless poem fifty years of marriage!
Monet embraces a postcard from Yorkshire
Big blue hair Marge Simpson pulls
The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha
Holds Hull City’s football fixture!
In a field- a shepherd from Jerusalem
Next to the Statue of liberty,
Sketch the shape of Sardinia,
Phone number to ring Hill?
Snow white appeals to seven
And on below freezing, watching
Louie Armstrong plays the trumpet
Are chimps and PG Tips
The fascination of magnets on the fridge
