The Magic Of Santa Hats Poem by Marilyn Lott

The Magic Of Santa Hats

Several ladies got together
For a day out on the town
A special Christmas luncheon
And I'll tell you what they found

But first of all I'd like to say
They were pretty as could be
All decked out in Christmas dress
For all the town to see

Then someone brought out Santa hats
These gals plopped them on their heads
Well, something very strange occurred
No one frowned but smiled instead

Something magical happened
With that Santa hat they wore
Everyone got in the Christmas mood
They were ladies you couldn't ignore

The holiday spirit emerged at once
Their eyes were bright with glee
Yes, all it took was a Santa hat
Like a kid on Santa's knee!

So bring them on, those jolly hats
And we'll get things underway
We'll smile so sweet for the camera
And have a wonderful holiday!
