I must confess, that until just the other day; I had never heard the name of A. B.
Banjo Paterson . I heard it in relation to my name in a somewhat derogatory
manner. It was used as if to write as Banjo Paterson was an insult. So today,
I happened to come across this great poem. I want to say without reservation.
That I am greatly honored to have my name associated with his. May it ever be
so. I will do my best to meet his great standard as one of the greatest poets of
the age.
