The Mask Poem by Anthony Degilio

The Mask

Behind my mask,
Not much is there,
A true task,
Is not to care.
I have emotion,
Though not many see,
From pure devotion,
The clear walls around me.
Mask we wear,
May hide our intentions,
Yet our thoughts will tear,
Our worldly apprehensions.
