The Masked Man/Woman Poem by Keith Young

The Masked Man/Woman

Who is he/she
Why does he/she hide behind the mask
I see him/her everyday
You see him/her everyday
Look harder
Search harder
You’ll find him/her
The Masked Man/Woman
We all see him/her
All the time
He/she see’s us every morning
Just look deeper
Just search harder
He/she is always with us
I see him
You see him
He/she cries all the time
Where is he/she
The Masked Man/Woman
Look inside
Look into your soul
You’ll see everybody’s has a mask on
I’m the masked man
You’re the mask man/women
We all live one big lie
We are all the masked man/women
The Masked Man/Woman

There is a mix/mingle of questions here. Who, who, who, there, there, there. Now you see, now you don't. Here I am. Hiding is good, if you want to be left alone. We all want attention too though. We must find the center and be all with one. Nice, creative piece of writing. Good thought put into this. DC
