The Masochist Of Love Poem by Kellyn, A Grau

The Masochist Of Love

The blood is dripping down my jaw
And the crave is just so strong
My eyes burn with the lust to steal away your breath
My lips wish to slip across your own
The taste of blood still lingers there
But the hunger still isn’t sustained
My nails hold onto the ground to keep my sanity
Could you be the one to fill my hunger
Pull your wrist close to my fangs for me to savor
I want to taste the rotting flesh again
To feel the warmth of the crimson liquid
I’ll steal you away and slice of your flesh
Devour every inch of you to help kill the pain
Out of sight out of mine but for this issue
I think with in me is the best solution
So will I be the one to end your little life
To take that dagger and plunge it into your heart
To lick the taste of fear off your cheek and cup your hand
“ It will only hurt for a second my love”
I’ll whisper to you as I circle your heart with the blade
“Don’t worry, I’ll kiss you goodbye first”
I say and I leave a bloody kiss upon your cheek
The mark now stains and the scars so visible
That if anyone questioned your pain they would die
For how can you not see the pain locked in those blue eyes
Forget the memories and forget about me
It’s the best way to stop the hunger from growing
I love you so I must do this with each dieing breath
I hug you and whisper “I love you so much”
And I take your life into my own hands
You look so beautiful when you are scared
Your eyes so bright and your heart pounding
Like it was the first time we kissed all over again
The tears start to fall as I look in your eyes
And tell you its time to say goodbye to life
I take the dagger and push it threw
“Don’t cry my love, I’m here with you”
I whisper as the bloody tears run down your face
The taste of victory screams in my lungs
As your body starts to loose its life
The color so bright now going numb
And your eyes don’t burn anymore
I’m sorry this was what it had to come down to
I wanted us to be forever but it just cant happen
So this is the best way for both of us to cope
I’ll see you again, I will promise you that
So hold my hand as your body runs cold
And the light in your eyes fades away
I’ll always love you, no matter if you’re gone
You suffered too much and it’s my job to save you
But who will save me when you’re gone
I will be all right so don’t worry about me
I’m just happy I got to say goodbye to love
