The Master Mind! - Poem by Aarzoo Mehek

We think only We've a manipulative mind
Above us all there is super calculative mind
Who can juggle our life with his mastermind
And still gives a chance to repent and be kind

We try hiding ourselves from the reality
For sure one will lose the sanity
Our every greed will be measured
And every deed will be treasured

Life is not always a bed of roses
One has to surpass all the phases
In the journey of life what have we gained
Trampling sensitive hearts in the bargain

Just remember for every tear one has to pay
Our misdeeds counted God will have his say
One schemes for one's own selfish reasons
But God has his own agenda his own seasons

Remember God the Greatest He controls it all
Man just pretends till the day he falls.

Yes, many of us believe in God and his omnipresence and omnipotence. This aspect has been brought out beautifully in this poem. (Report) Reply

Through logic or through faith we somehow take refuge to the Master Mind who delivers the judgement based on our karma i.e. our good or bad deeds. Thanks and Congrats, Mdm.

Pious and consoling to a person beset by setbacks, which she or he cannot
    explain why they occur.

Pious thoughts, will appease the troubled mind that blames the times
or someone else or some unknown external force.

The skeptic in me do not believe in the existence of God, but much like Kelly said certain principles of ethics should be adhered to if we are call ourselves civilised. There is always 'karma' wheter in religious/ non-religious manner, but it does exist and we should be aware of that. (Report) Reply

/Life is not always a bed of roses
One has to surpass all the phases/
This reminds me of what Rumi says in several places: the pleasure we take in each phase of life will die away, yet it helps to lead us toward a more advanced phase. There is bound to be pain in moving from one phase to another. In the growth of spirit, we leave behind one set of laws and enter a realm governed by other laws. From realm to realm the laws mesh so that we can make the transition and keep advancing. This is the miracle of the creation, so I can appreciate what you are saying about the master calculator who is above us.

I do believe strongly in a Mastermind that controls the entire universe! Fortunate are those who can bow their heads in humility before that power ere the final fall comes! Brilliant thoughts, Arzoo! (Report) Reply

Man just pretends till the day he falls....What an amazing ending line of a very thoughtful n wise write. Man's mind has its limits. He can plan, scheme but the final word is God's. Man lives a life of pretension n believes he knows all. But he never reaches the ultimate truth. Thank you for sharing.10++++ (Report) Reply
