The Memories Poem by Sierra Staten

The Memories

When I cry, I think of you.
Memories and the things we'd do

A million words we'd never said
And some things I did, I do regret

Can I hold you again? Because I wouldn't let go..
I still love and miss you, just thought you should know

And not a day goes by;
That I don't cry
A tears of joy are mixed with pain.
Horrid thoughts I never did, now murder my brain.

How was I to know that awful fight
Would be the last words of your life
How was I to know that you'd be gone
And so young, I'd be set out on my own

Just one more smile, I'd love to see
Another day just you, and me

I like this one, it has bitterness but a strong presentation and unity of ideas, a really good write!
