The Messenger Poem by Himanshu Mishra

The Messenger

When the heart is full of solicitude
When the mind buries in range
When the fear, falling off the altitude
threatens; the soul betrays
When the bones lack the strength
When the feeeble skin lament
When the skull has nothing to keep
When you misspell death as sleep
When your knowledge gets impure
When you can't neglect the lure
When your eyes search for none
When you can't forget your failure
Say these words remember my name
'Thou art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name'
Feel my warmth through the sun
Feel my sense through the breeze
The nature helps you just seek
Remember me in every disbelief.
