The Mind Reader Poem by Rommel Laride

The Mind Reader

Speaks about a lot of things unheard of,

looks into your eyes like it’s a window,

wins argument without a single proof,

without a word makes anyone follow.

dangles not on the skin, in the soul,

touches people not with her hands, her eyes,

catches those who ran and walks, creep and crawl,

no one escapes, bad, good, naughty or nice.

and being circumstance her lawful friend,

together with mind and feelings conspire,

having a signature smile of a fiend,

armed with a stare that pierces through desire.

she’s not a spell caster, not a seer,

keen, a feeler, she is the mind reader.
