The Moon And The Cherry Tree Poem by Christopher Tye

The Moon And The Cherry Tree

Rating: 4.8

See the cherry blossom in the moonlight,
The moon is in a bright new quarter,
But the cherry blossom is near its end,
The moon bathes the cherry tree in a ghostly light,
Foretelling the cherry blossoms imminent passing.

I read the mood of Zen in your poem. Very beautiful.
