The Moon Watches Over Me Poem by tierra fisher

The Moon Watches Over Me

Sleep calls as I grace the night
To tired to move paralyzed on a bed
The crescent moon shines on me
Calling me to a sleep so deep

I'm so tired with so much weakness through my body
Breathing easy then hard
Fighting the temptation to sleep
Yet wanting to find eternal bliss

The stars move one by one
Telling me the sand mans coming
Looking at my surrounding trying to figure out
What is it that I should do?

The night is my domain
And yet I feel the need to skip the night passion this one time
My eyes get heavier and soon close
I don’t have much time now

I just hope the moon will watch over me
As I sleep in the night
For the next time
I will be awake for thee

That was very good! I liked it very much. It sort of reminds me of a poem I wrote five years ago about a starry night and the moon... Nice job.
