The Morning Is Here A Prayer

THE MORNING IS HERE A PRAYER

The morning is here
Life begins again
I try
Each day is an effort
Each day is its own story
I try
I have been trying for years
Good days bad days
Days without character or meaning
Days without remembrance
I try
Life has gone by ‘trying’
And where am I?

The morning is here
Life begins again
I should be beyond ‘just trying’ by now
But perhaps I never will be-

May God bless this day
And each day I have left
As God has blessed so many others
In which I have tried.
