The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year! Poem by Kimberly Lindsey

We celebrate, Jesus wondrous birth,
And the reasons that He came.

Down to earth, from heaven above,
To teach us His ways and about His love.
To Heal the sick, the blind and lame,
The deaf, the mute, and diseased.

With parables and virtue,
By example, and fed the thousand too.
And many listened, were amazed,
And believed that Jesus was the Messiah!

Jesus birth, the most glorious of days!
What more could we ask, each day, each year?
Our savior was born! He lived! He forgave!
Now it is up to us, to carry on in His stead.

Perhaps we can not heal, Nor turn water into wine.
Nor can we do everything that He did…..
But we can love. We can teach.
And we can forgive those who have hurt us.

It is a choice we make and ours alone.
To exalt God, The One on the Throne.
Carry on His message, and follow it through.
Jesus has come, rejoice one and all!

A baby boy was born, to save us all!
