The Mysterious Tide (2002) Poem by David Joel Rodriguez

The Mysterious Tide (2002)

The rise and the fall of tasteless tears.
The beginning and the end of wasteful fears.
Bring forth or take back your useless crime.
It's a busy world, so, subdue...maritime!
Moon enlightens me,
The Sun burns me.
Can't hold back what's already on the way.
Take it or leave it you'll lose anyway.
Save the melancholy, punisher.
One tear always leads to another.
I must intercept this flood of tears;
Dry them with the burning Sunshine.
