The New Year Poem by Dawn Gothic

The New Year

this year is different but the same. All the leaves are falling with the same glow of the Fall. Couples are out, kids raking the leafs in piles, just to Jump in them. Helicopters are all so falling from the sky . but at the same time it gets dark and colder faster. As the sun sets in the west, the cold sets in. The once fresh air is now heave with the new blood that has dripped its way on the street, as a forgotten person is there on the ground. Dying, but no one dears stop to give him the light of day. When fall comes, so dose the dark. Bringing the darkest fears and actions of all human and animal minds.
