The Night Goes On

Things remain as the same and forever will be so
The night will go on and will be endless in its form
It can even be that the darkness will never fade and that is the way of life
This journey will go on and if you wish to hit me, I will take your blows
Your threats cannot scare me as after all these events in my life I am learning to be unbreakable
My life will go on until God takes away my life so humans cannot scare me.

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,

The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.

The Wind is hiding in the trees,
