The Night Shift Poem by Albrando Lucino

The Night Shift

By: Albrando Lucino

At the evening, sun down, night reflection
There sits a man on table with books open, notes on pad

Renewed in a new inspiration, a new goal, a new path
Strange how it takes so much to appreciate the reality
But once the seed of appreciation takes root, liberating it is
Liberating for this man who sits on a table with books open, notes on pad

And happy is this man, this student, this teacher, this son, brother
Happy in the love of his family, his dogs, his books, his queries
Liberating it is to appreciate this at evening, sun down, night reflection
