The One Poem by Daniel Adams

The One

You're the one, my beacon of light
The last person i want to see every night,
The first person to see on each new day.
I think that's perfect, i love it that way.

You are the only one for me,
My one true love you'll always be.
I picture us side by side,
And in years to come our love still wont slide.

I've pictured us in our own home
I' can pictuew it while i'm writing this poem.
I've though it all, house, car, a pet and marriage,
Driven to slowly in a horse drawnn carriage.

Before I met you I always wished,
If I fished and if I fished,
I'd pull a catch and I got you,
You really seem to good to be true.

But I know you're real, I know you're mine.
I know you love me now get in line!
Don't fret baby, that's just a joke.
Because Dan, you are the perfect bloke.
