The Only Friend Poem by Osama Waqar

The Only Friend

The winds are hot, the summer is deep.
The place is taught to weep and weep.

The blazing air on marshy lands,
Cannot be controlled on striking bands.

My outside boiling, my inside too
It's difficult to live for me and you.

But still I have this rising thought-
Those normal values have far been sought.

The good side is just out of confidence.
And bad is worse if you make the sense.

The paramount noise is self-esteem,
To drive your luck, to make your team.

To be in harmony- ‘tis nature's trend,
For you to stand tall, it's the only friend.
