The Only Material Poem by Saanumi ikujuni

The Only Material

Like a needle that patches our tattered clothes
Our future remains the brighter globe
To illuminate our paths as the early morning sun
Revealing the puzzles of our dark night drum
Some talents are beyond explanation
For they're begotten from strong imagination
Another day and another day
We survive on the barn of grace
Let's live and repair the bridge
Of knowldge, most strongest decree
The best of the best legacies
Overshadowing all our intricacies...

Like a needle that patches our tattered clothes
Let's live and repair the bridge
Let's cement our useless dams
And save ourselves from generational damns
Money looting, stupid leaders crave about
Preservation of knowledge, left beside the round-abouts
Behold! the traffic control officers of our Edjukeisn
Inactive towards common, basic knowledge application
Where are the leaders, and even the prospective leaders of tomorrow?
Alas! we must wail in sorrow
For the sake of our lost knowledge-pride
Hurry up before we read the pledge.
