The only thing God requires of you is
Neither your riches nor your poverty
Neither your fullness nor your emptiness
Neither your happiness nor your sadness
Neither your active works nor your quiet ways
Neither your holy feastings nor your hard fastings
Neither your greatness in preaching the gospel nor your simplicity in swallowing the scriptures
Neither your trustworthiness in receiving tithes nor your consistency in giving alms
Neither your demon-cleansing skill nor your spirit-imparting talent
Neither your godliness form nor your power-packed displays
The only thing God requires of you is
Obedience!
