The Other Part Of Me Poem by Tessa Roods

The Other Part Of Me

Rating: 5.0

The Other Part of Me

Eyes closed, heart open,
bare feet touching the ground;
Moving forward towards destiny.
With a silent prayer,
I have faith that she is guiding me.
She is that voice deep inside.
She is me.

Sins and small demise,
Regret and shallow eyes,
Loss of innocence;
Painfully, she held my hand lovingly.

A bright light;
Spark of clarity;
The power of a soul,
On a beautiful journey.

A silent hour,
An open gate of memory;
In that moment,
Heaven has no mystery.

Beautiful. Whether you are speaking somehow instrinsicallt to another self, or to a (in one way or another) beloved person in your life, this piece is monumental. I only hope that you grace us all with more of your writing. Thank you Tessa. This one means something to me Sins and small demise Regret and shallow eyes Brilliance
