The Pacesetter Poem by Collins Nkemjika Nzomuche

The Pacesetter

He is a confirmed last man standing
The epitome of acceptable manner
He is greatly suffering
Despite that, he stands firm
A true green-white-green
The pacesetter
The vessel
Even in the dark
One sees him as light
Light to those who understands the cost
Hange on the pacesetter
At your back flocks walk your step
The pacesetter
