The Pain Of Abuse Will Never Go Away
When you get older
The pain of abuse
Never goes away
The fear they made you feel
Stays within you
The love they never showed you
Makes it hard for you to love others
And let them love you
The lies they have told you
Makes it hard for you
To believe the people
Who are actually telling you the truth
Your all grown up
Scared, shy, terrified
You built a walls
You will never knock down
Who's gonna save you now?
When no one believed you back then
Who will believe you now?
