The Peace Of The Dead Poem by Patti Masterman

The Peace Of The Dead

A dagger, a chalice,
A heart filled with dread;
Invisible palace-
The peace of the dead.

A war and a promise
That's better not said,
No more doubting Thomas:
The populace bled.
