The Perfect Kiss Poem by Donna Elouise James

The Perfect Kiss

Underneath the apple tree
In the cemetery
Amongst the stones an the souls

This moment I can not forget
When our lips met
And you touched my heart

Such a wonderful taste
With my hands around your waist
And your fingers running through my hair

The perfect kiss
I knew life wouldn’t get better than this
And it never did

This poem talks about how the simplicity of one place can cause so much emotion and delight, with a simple kiss. I really like it.

Really honest and lovely. A great poem. I'm fairly new on here. Look forward to a visit over to my place. Steve
