The Phoenix Poem by G, E. Gorfu

The Phoenix

The Phoenix

Deep in the study

Of etiology

Shrouded with fable

And mythology

Woven with DNA's helix

We find the Phoenix.

When this curious bird dies

It lights its own funeral pier

And into the flames it dives,

And from the dying fire,

A new born elf

Emerges, - itself!

Marvelous work. I enjoyed them all but I was clingy to The Fluff Age the most. Thanks
